1000 Books In 10 Years; Vol. 112: De Limpicka, by Gilles Neret

This is yet another in the series of the Taschen books which offer biographical information on Tamara De Limpicak, along with a nice sample of her work. It borrows heavily from other texts to offer narratives from De Limpicka’s life, and doesn’t include a lot of interpretation of the paintings, though it does provide entertaining anecdotes behind some of the paintings. The high-gloss, coloured images of many of De Limpicka’s work make the book worth while.
